Anxiety about sex

Hello, my husband and I had sex recently and I noticed something a little strange but it didn’t seem to bother him so we didn’t use a condom. Now I’m freaking out probably over nothing. I just performed a self check too down there and noticed things looked a little darker.. like a purple color I’ve never noticed before is that normal or am I just getting worked up over nothing?? Any help is appreciated. I did just go for a Pap smear too and it came back clean. That was a month ago
