Just interested as I’m pretty sure here in NZ it’s rare to have any intervention prior to 40 weeks without a medical reason for it.

In Finland you won't usually be induced before 41+5 weeks without a medical reason.

In the UK due on Thursdays they wouldn’t even consider doing a sweep on Wednesday when I’m in at 39+6 have to wait until Monday when I’m 40+4.

I'm in UK and my midwife wouldn't even book me in at 39+6, I'm booked in the following Monday at 40+2 instead
