Slow down

I had a falling out with a guy I'm dating (3 months) because I seen something on his IG that I didn't like....he said to me that he thinks we should slow down....His meaning "what I mean by slow down i'm talking sex and just being friends and getting to know each other even more and get a better understanding of each other"..... Because I don't trust him..So does this means and doesn't like me the same and wants to date other people?
