Never before have I had stretchy mucus 3 days before cycle! But it’s stretchy. Any clue what it could be!?

Definitely fertile mucous. My normal cycle is 35 days however I've had a few cycles this year where I've either had an anovulary LH surge at say day 16 of my cycle,  I then go on to actually ovulate anywhere from day 30 to day 40 and it throws my cycle out. If you're ovulating late in the cycle your period well most likely be pushed back by 10-14 days
