TDap Shot?

Question

So I’m currently 33+2 weeks and I’m really on the fence about getting the TDap shot. I never got it with my last baby but not sure if I should with this one. Mostly for selfish reasons as I’m not too fond of shots and I’ve heard this particular one hurts a lot. 
Any advice on this dilemma?

Getting the shot is the only way to get your baby any passive immunity to protect them from people who don’t vaccinate. Google whooping cough and watch some videos - you’ll understand why we need to do this for our babies. My adult sisters got pertussis (whooping cough) after not realizing they needed a booster and it was so awful. It can kill babies. Unless you are planning on keeping your baby in a bubble, you cannot prevent them from being exposed to people who won’t vaccinate.
Get the shot. A sore arm for you in trade for  health for your baby is a no brainer.

I just had it last week. Wasn't that painful. Sore for like 2 days after. Not bad at all.

I would get it. I was on the fence too because I had already had a tetnus shot while pregnant and was worried about getting another similar vaccine, but it was a good thing I did. My brother in law almost died as a baby from whooping cough. Its very dangeours and can cause baby to stop breathing. Get it for you and babys protection! It didnt hurt at all for me. Not even a sore arm.

Tdap shot didn’t hurt at all. I even forgot to take my bandaid off later that night because I had forgotten that I even got it. I guess you should ask yourself how youd feel if your baby got whooping cough

Mine didn’t hurt one bit! The rhogam shot burned, but I hardly felt the tdap. Definitely get it, as it protects baby from whooping cough, which can be extremely dangerous for baby to catch and fall ill with.

For me the shot did hurt, but it wasn’t terrible. It’s worth passing the immunity through to my baby though! Cold and flu season is no joke for infants and I want my daughter to be as protected as possible.

I don't unnecessarily vaccinate. 
They push the dTap in my area and I refuse. Common sense keeps you and your baby protected. 
I am honestly an anti-vaxer at heart but still vaccinate my children for the essentials.

Update:
Hi mamas, just came back from getting both the TDap and flu shot. Felt it was best for me and baby to be on the safe side than on the lamenting side.... also got my husband and 2 oldest vaccinated for flu as well as my mom sister and step dad 🙊 better safe than sorry. Thank you all for the advice and opinions.

Mine hurt last time I got it and NOT AT ALL this time. Last time I tended up and was sore for 2 weeks. This time I exhaled deeply when it was done and never felt any soreness or tenderness. Relax the muscle as much as possible.
