My water broke 4 days ago and was dilated to a 7. Now I’m still exactly the same. No change in cervix and completely effaced and no fluid left around baby. I’m dying here. I’ve had the steroid shots, lots of antibiotics and all the magnesium I’m allowed to have. This sucks. Had to send my husband and 3 boys home an hour away today. Completely depressed. I know every day in the womb is better but what about the chances of infection due to being open and ruptured. Idk what to think. Dr seems to think it will just happen out of nowhere and my husband probably won’t make it back in time when I call him. She said to FaceTime lol. My boys are 9, 10, and 13. They are so worried and torn to leave my side. This is the hardest thing I’m having to do.
