My 3 week old has been nursing for 20-30 minutes and still seems hungry so I have been giving him another 2 ounces of breast milk then he seems satisfied. He stays up at least an hour after eating most of the time then sleeps for 2.5-3 hours during the day and 3-5 hours at night. Sometimes he goes 5-6 hours without eating so I know he’s hungry.

My issue is pumping in between nursing I’m only getting 1.5-2 ounces so it’s just enough to give him after his next time nursing when he’s still hungry. I have been supplementing .5-1 ounce of formula. Anyone have any suggestions for better milk production?! -I do drink a ton of water!
