Posted this in another group but I think here is more appropriate! I’ll try to short cut this one.

Met a guy when I was on vacation in Canada. We hit it off, and it felt like we truly connected; unfortunately I had to go back home to the Philippines. First few days we always talked, but then he started to not reply, until eventually he disappeared on me for about two weeks. I was confused and hurt by this.

A week ago he suddenly messaged me, and I replied, so we got talking again. We video called, and he told me he was sorry and that he shouldn’t have done what he did (he admitted that he ignored me because he was confused about how he was feeling). He told me that he also met with a girl, but when she tried to do something with him, he just wouldn’t get into it, so he told her to stop and that he likes somebody else.

I still like him. My feelings for him are strong and I care about him. But him, I am not sure. Is it ok to ask him what he really wants from this? I’m hesitant because he might disappear on me again.
