I’ve been noticing a trend on this app...ramzi

I’ve been noticing a trend... maybe you all have too. Many women, excited to find out they are pregnant, many of them for the first time, discover this quirky theory called “Ramzi theory” where supposedly you can guess the gender when you are around 7-8 weeks. We all know, that this is just for fun and many of us excitedly posted photos as we got our first ultrasounds.

The trend that bothers me however, is not with new moms posting about it all over the app,

But with moms who are ANGRY that women are posting it “in topics not specially designated for ramzi” I have seen some horrible posts from many women about how stupid and annoying it is and calling those women’s babies “blobs on a screen”. I have seen many of them policing topics to make sure those women know they are “in the wrong thread” and just being petty and unnecessarily angry.

We all need to be a little nicer to each other on this app. So what if it annoys you? Scroll past it! It’s not like you have to run a marathon. Take your finger and move the screen two inches to get to that important information you need. You don’t know what that woman has gone through, you don’t know what’s going on in her life, maybe the only joy in her day is seeing her little guesses! Maybe she has no support system and this app is the only place she can talk about her pregnancy! This is the first place many women share their news! Even before their friends and family!

Instead of bashing women or posting angry posts, we should all be kind and supportive of each other. Some of you need to lighten up and have a little more love in your hearts.

As for me, I personally don’t know anything about ramzi but I’ll guess on your gender just for fun if you would like to post your ultrasounds here :)
