When to trigger for iui

Question

So I only have one follicle this time 🙄 but we’re doing iui on Friday. I have to give myself the trigger shot and she said my time would be 2am Thursday or just when I wake up. My iui is scheduled for 1pm Friday. I rather do it early so I have a better chance. Any recommendations? Should I do 2 am or just do it at 7 when I wake up?

I'd do 2am, I had to do my trigger at 3:45am. It's kinda nice doing it at that time because you just want to get it over with so you can go back to bed haha.

2am Thursday. I’ve always been told to do trigger about 36 hours before IUI. I also use digital ovulation test and they show peak fertility the morning of the IUI (36 hours after trigger shot)
