I'm confused..

So I was 4 days late but then started what I think is my period. Only thing is, it's suuuuper light and brown with a mix of like brown tinted liquid/discharge if you will (I'm usually a heavy period kind of girl) It's been going for 3 days, seems to be winding off today (day 3), but only one of those days was it slightly bloody (like the outside of one light tampon worth.) I was using Nuvaring for 5 years and took my final ring out in October, had a normal period after I took it out, but this time around is very different. My hubby and I had sex on my "OD" and a few days before/after that day, both protected and not. I had some symptoms the week I was supposed to start like tender breasts, insatiable appetite, super tired, slightly nauseous. I took a test the day before this brown shit started but it was negative. I'm thinking about taking another one but I don't know if I'm just over thinking my body's way of readjusting to no more bc... 🙄🤨
