How do I go about telling my doctor? Advice please!
Okay, so a little back story I started to MC on 11/1 and went to the doctor, they told me that my levels were low(86) and they couldn’t do anything, so to just go home and then come back if it go worse. Well I decided to go to ER on 11/5 after having bleeding all weekend, they confirmed that I was having a complete MC as my levels had gone down to 9. The ER doctor told me he thought I was totally fine physically and could start trying again immediately/whenever we felt comfortable. He suggested a follow up with my regular doctor, but overall had no concerns. I tested at home and got stark white negatives, so the HCG was gone from my system.
Long story short I tried for a week to get in for a follow up with my doctor, but just ended up giving up because they were giving me the run around and saying I didn’t really need to be seen. Okay, fine. I didn’t have any complaints because I felt fine and the ER doctor had already give me a clean bill.
Fast forward to today... my doctors office finally calls me back and says they want to finally run blood panels to check my levels... a over month later. We heeded the ER doctors recommendation and did not wait. I used OPKs so I know exactly when I ovulated. I got my BFP(9DPO), I’m currently 11DPO.How do I tell them that I’m 100% sure this is new pregnancy and that I don’t want a bunch of tests/interventions? I would really rather hold off on any sort of ultrasound until I can hear a heartbeat. I just don’t want them to see my levels are up after the MC and automatically assume something is up.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
