When will you tell family and close friends?

I am conflicted and would love some weigh ins. My first pregnancy I told the second I found out and then miscarried and went through having to tell everyone but also was surrounded by support since everyone knew. The second time I didn't have much choice because my mom found out when I did when the nurse blurted it out, surprising both of us bc I thought I was there for something else. This time I found out in private and my husband thinks we should wait until we hear the heartbeat but the doctor can't get me in for 5 more weeks! We see family 2xs a week plus I work with my brother. How do I not say anything?!

We really wanted to tell everyone on Christmas but I will only be 7w 2d and I am too paranoid to tell everyone that early! So we will wait until I am out of my first trimester so around mid February! Aggggg that seems like sooo far away!’

Telling parents and close friends on  Christmas @ 7.5 weeks! 
Told my best friends and had to tell a few coworkers due to my job (work in a hospital: have a few coworkers looking out for reported contagions, can’t go into radiology anymore, didn’t get my flu shot and have to wear a mast at work until my MD clears me)

I told my parents and inlaws immediately with my first and everything went smoothly with that pregnanc. But for some reason this go around I dont want to tell anyone. Im so afraid of miscarrying. 😫 trying to stay calm
