Day 3 Hormone Blood Test — Can I drink the night before?

So, my husband and I have been TTC for over a year. We saw a fertility specialist in October and decided that the beginning of 2019, we will start the process. I just started my period, and right now it’s looking like day 3 for my next period will be on January 1st, New Years Day.

I am wondering if anyone knows if drinking alcohol on New Years eve would be a problem for the Day 3 blood tests. I don’t want to push testing out another month, but we also have plans to go out with friends and abstaining from drinking won’t be as fun. Just wondering what everyone’s experience has been.
