Ready and waiting!

38+1 today. 2cm dialated and 70% effaced. Maybe doesn’t seem like much but with my first there was never any progress. I stayed cervix closed and not effaced till I went into labor (a few days past my due date.) I feel like because I hadn’t progressed at all ahead of time it contributed to my labor being so so long (34+ hours with over two pushing.)

Hoping to go a little early this time. Definitely getting mild contractions on and off. Can’t wait to hold baby boy and cuddle him. 🥰
