No money.

Anastasia

I know this isn’t really mental health support related at all but I needed to tell someone and didnt know where to put this.

This holiday season my family is receiving troubles rather than joyful times and presents. Mother has just had surgery and can not work because of it. Father, in a month brings home $1800, which after paying the bills leaves us $100 for groceries for the four of us, internet, which my brother and I need for school, loan payments, and the refrigerator. My father has had to choose food over rent and now it’s very much possible for us to be evicted.

And on top of this we cannot receive help because my parents, when my parents are both working, make too much moneyand because my parents are in debt and cannot have most of the bills in their name, thus keeping them from being in the name of someone living in the house.

I really think I need to see a mental health professional because of sexual abuse when I was younger, but because of our money issues I’m terrified to even bring up such a thing.

I honestly have no idea what we are to do.
