Clear blue early result question

So I bought a two pack of clear blue early result. When I took the test out of the bag, it had a line already through one of the windows. The left window to be exact. Is that normal? I don’t normally take these tests. I took the test like normal and it filled up the screen like normal. But the blue line was already there On the screen
