First insertion failed, trying again.
I'm a 21 year old who has not had children. I want to try to conceive in around 3-4 years or so.
I am in need of Mirena due to my migraines with aura. I have had migraines since I was 9 years old but my parents didn't believe me and now I'm apparently at risk of a stroke because of my migraines.
During the consultation, I almost cried from the exam. I get very tense and uncomfortable with non sexual touching because I was raped by a friend when I was 17. I was offered a medication called Lozarapram to help with nerves.
The day of the procedure came and I took the Lozarapram but it didn't help. I cried and had a panic attack. I did get a photo of the box. I know that the box includes an insertion device and thre scissors were for the strings, but i couldn't even get my uterus measured.
So now I'm trying again next week with more sedation so hopefully I can do it! Wish me luck!
