Am I to emotional?

My husband says I'm the worst emotional wreck he's ever been with. I hate all his puts owns and I really just wanna see if others are like me. My husband brings me down a lot and I am very depressed.

It's impossible for any of us to tell you whether you are too emotional, but I can say this: whether your emotions are warranted or not, your husband should never put you down or make you feel guilty about what you are feeling. Even if you are suffering from anxiety and/or depression, he should help you through your bad moments and help you find the reason why you are feeling this way. It doesn't matter whether you are too emotional or not. What matters is you are in a dark place right now and instead of supporting you, your husband is judging you. 
 
I have struggled with anxiety/depression my entire adult life and most of my adolescence. My fiancé didn't understand how I was feeling nor did he know how to help me at first. He knows now that it is not a problem he can fix, but something he just needs to stand by me for, and help me through. I'm sure it's frustrating for a man to watch his lady suffering and feel completely helpless, but your husband needs to learn that you're not choosing to feel this way, and the only thing that will make it worse is if he continues to make you feel guilty for it.

No you are definitely not to emotional.! Don't blame yourself, and never let him bring you down or make you feel bad about yourself. He should not do that to you.

Can't vote,  don't know you.  But if you simply react without being able to identify why and come at things logically,  you may be very emotional...  One good way to get a handle on outbursts is to create a graph.  Start with the word over reaction,  in one corner write feelings you have,  in another write memories that remind you of the situation that made you react,  another write stresses and in another emotions or miscellaneous things you think of,  start linking them together.  You will feel so much more powerful once you realize you (for example) are triggered when he stays out late without txting because you were cheated on (memory) and it makes you feel helpless and scared,  and you become stressed because he supports you financially so cheating would end the relationship (stress)  which makes you insecure (feeling)  Which reminds you of the your last breakup(memory)  ..  And it can turn into a crazy Web.  It really really helped me.  And doing something like this might help,  absolutely nothing wrong with being emotional, but there is nothing more relaxing and empowering than being able to understand and explain your reactions to your partner.

I'm currently dating someone and he can be very insensitive with his word choices when I get emotional like calling me crazy and other things. Personally I just don't think men understand or maybe its just the guy I'm with.
