My Scary but Worth it Birth Story... I went in Monday to be induced... Unfortunately, I only progressed 1cm on cervidil and no progression on Cytotech... They sent me home after being there about 22 hours... As I was preparing to leave I started getting very bad contractions... I was told it was the after effects of the meds and would stop eventually. They gave me a shot of morphine and sent me on my merry way... That night I was in and out of sleep with contractions and pain... Then the morning hit and they got worse at 5mins apart and started giving me back labor... Went to the hospital around 10 and was sent home for not making progress and was told to come back the next day since that's when I was scheduled to be induced... I was given Ambien and was sent on my merry way once again... Went home and didnt sleep... Was screaming in agony every few mins... Suddenly my water broke!!! I had to go way back to the hospital IN TRAFFIC!! Mind you the hospital is 30 mins away with no traffic! I ended up getting admitted though I still had no change... Got the epidural because that back pain was WAY worse than regular contractions.. Epidural wore off so I got a 2nd dose and my baby responded AWFULLY... His heart rate dropped drastically then we couldn't find it at all... The Dr. Showed up checked me and said I was fully dilated.... I pushed for an hour...

He was born 7lbs 11 oz at 6:41am... My little Mister Grayson... I'm glad we were able to get him out before things went further south!
