Elliott Theo is here 31 weeks 5 days

My baby boy is here early but in good health!! This was no doubt the scariest time of my life, but all worth it just to have him alive and breathing. What started as my water breaking 4 days before to today as him struggling inside of me with no more fluid around him to no movement and breathing in the sac. Then to go into active labor at the exact perfect time because his heart couldn’t handle it inside anymore. Then to nurses and drs freaking out because they couldn’t find his heartbeat and my placenta detaching at the exact moment he decided he wasn’t going to wait to come out. The way everything happened at the precise moments they did is unbelievable. I got to do skin to skin today just hours after his birth was beyond amazing. I’m so grateful for everything.

Update:

Elliott is doing really good!! Increased his feeding and is breathing regular oxygen! He’s whining more and making little noises! He does have some jaundice but not to bad. I’m loving his improvements.
