Spaying/neutering your pup

Hii,

I know this post doesn’t go here, but I just wanted to know some knowlegde of any moms who have pets, and when you take them to vet and the stuff about nueter or spaying your pet.

I have a 2month old yorkie pup named Simba, and I just made an appt for his first time visit check up... my question is is your pet neutered or spayed? Whats the purpose of this? Should I do it for my pup??? He just soooo small I wouldn’t want surgery sooo soon on him. What can I do? If the vet asks me that? Thanks.
