Admitting for labor?

So I know all hospitals have their own rules but I'm JW at what point do they usually admit someone for labor? My sister was admitted after they kept her an hour and she walked the halls and had got to 2 cm and had my nephew 6 hours later. And I've seen a few others get admitted to see if it progresses or to just break their water when they are only a few cm dialated. But here in NC where I live I feel like the hospital we go to on base they are just playing it like til the last minute and I'm not sure how I feel about that. They don't admit until 8cm and I also had a friend give birth here a few months ago and they kept sending her back home even at 5/6cm I literally thought she was gonna have that baby at home. So yesterday when I had called about pains they told me take Tylenol I was 2 cm Friday and I'm almost certain I've dialated more but they told me no need to come in 🤷 ok fine. But knowing they don't like to admit til atleast 8cm I'm JW how that's going to work with my GBS and needing the antibiotics for at least 4 hours cuz who's to say once I'm at 8 it's gonna take 4 hours to get to 10 my sister went from a 6 to 10 in 30 minutes and my mom and my Gma and my aunt (all mom side) all of them had their baby's in under 7 hours. I just feel like waiting to admit til I'm 8 isn't the greatest idea if I need these antibiotics as much as theyve stressed it to me.
