Tampax pearl..

Has anyone had bother with tampax pear tampons? I have the unscented ones ( I think) however when I inserted it and a hour went by, my labia felt quite sore and burning ( still does slightly) and removing it was so uncomfortable, even thought it says it has a protective layer that prevents pain when removing, has anyone else had this issue? Should i go to the doctors incase it’s a problem with me and not the tampon?
