How often do you read to your kid(s)?

Multiple times a day. I beleive its essential for language development and exposure to the alphabet. My son ia 14 months and brings me.books throughout the day to read to him. We always do a book before bed also.

Kids who are read to enter kindergarten with thousands more words in their vocabulary. It makes it easier for them to start school prepared and learn to read themselves. It is one of the easiest and best things you can do to prepare your child to have a good future.

He will bring me books throughout the day and I ALWAYS stop what I’m doing to read them with him and when we’re home my husband and I do story time with him before bed every night

Never because my daughter reads to me 🙂 I never read to her as a baby though because I hate reading out-loud.. it makes me stammer. In stead I always sang to her and still do.

I don't have children yet but when I do I will read to them all the time. Especially at bed time. I went to my nephews school last week about reading and only 26% of parents read a bedtime story! Which I think is heartbreaking that so many children are missing out. It takes 5 mins to read a book!

I try to read to him every night I have him but lately I can barely get dinner done at a reasonable hour.

I do it when im putting him to bed and baby daddy does it when he puts him to bed so i dont do it every day. Just 4 times a week.  But Sebastian has bedtime reading every night :)

My son is 15 months and it's constant. We read to him 20-30 times a day. It's nuts. But I never want to discourage him from learning so yes I will read this book for the tenth time in five minutes lol

At least twice per day, but usually, around 3-4 times. I read to her every morning and my husband read to her every night. I usually read to her throughout the day while we are home also.
