Failed induction 🙃😩
At 8am I went into my OBs office to get the cook catheter placed. It look 5 attempts and she ended up getting me from 1 cm to 2 with how much she was doing to get the catheter in. Once they got it in and everything was cleaned up I was put on the monitor. Ladies I know it’s been said but you’ll know when you have a real contraction cause HOLY SHIT. My contractions were about a minute apart and hitting the top. I was immediately sent over to labor and delivery for monitoring and at that point contractions were back to back and so intense I was almost vomiting. The doctor later told me that I was borderline having too many contractions and that if they continued it would have been dangerous. I took half a dose of morphine around 11 because I was in sooo much pain I couldn’t handle it. It knocked me right out and I slept like a log for almost 4 hours. I woke up around 3 feeling so well rested and relieved! I went to go pee and the catheter fell out! Typically that means that you’re dilated to a 4-5.. not for me apparently. I was still at 2!! The nurses had me walk the halls for about an hour to see if anything changed. It didn’t.. now I’m on my way home after a very hectic and painful day... going back in tomorrow to try different approaches but might end up resulting in a csection in the end ):
