Is it ok to take an enema in 2nd trimester?

I am 14w4d and I took an enema, I found mixed things online but I was in a pinch and LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE WORKS! I figured the arguments were bad in 1st trimester and could induce labor, which I'm not close to.

No enemas when pregnant. You can take a probiotic, colace, and try eating Raisin Bran everyday. Also I would call your doctor and ask what else you can do.

If your constipated, the best thing to do is call your doctor and ask what they suggest. You can try prune juice. It may taste awful but it may get things moving.

I was given one at the hospital by an OB and a nurse due to severe constipation the night before my cerclage. This was 3 weeks sho at 22 +5. Best thing that ever happened to me!
