I recently saw a post about a woman who lost her baby because of it... can someone explain?

It can be caused by a lot of different things. The Mayo Clinic says “A combination of physical and sleep environmental factors can make an infant more vulnerable to SIDS. These factors vary from child to child.” And some of those factors are: low birth weight, brain defects, respiratory infection, and sleep environment. One of my dad’s sisters died from it
