When would you TTC after a miscarriage?

My doctor told me to wait 3 months just to be safe. After my 3rd period, I got pregnant right away and am now 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby. The doctors and nurses at my practice all said they were pleased that I took their advice and waitied the 3 months. They said all too often that they see people try again right away and go through the same heartache as before or worse complications arise. Either way, I would say listen to your doctor. Lots of luck!!!

My doctor told me as soon as I have my period after the miscarriage we can try again... I had a blighted ovum.. I'm sure the reason for the mc matters for one reason or another...

At first my doctor said wait until I have at least 1 cycle to start again, but yesterday after my d&c he said he wants to see me in 3 weeks and possibly give me the green light sooner. Even if he does I'm more comfortable waiting until I get a cycle first. The nurse afterwards said don't wait too long because I'm supposedly very fertile after a d&c.

I wanted to wait until after AF but I'm getting the same symptoms as I did before my bfp.  too scared to test =/

After my first period. Depending on how/why you miscarried you should definitely wait longer though! Talk to your doctor about it.
