Crazy ride to say the least
So my son decided to come 16 days early, I had went to the doctor on Halloween to make sure everything was okay. Well we had honestly expected to be going back to see her that following Friday but boy was I wrong. November 1st I woke up hurting but I was kinda used to hurting (having severe scoliosis on top of pregnancy hurt) but I noticed that I had to pee extremely bad, so I get up and noticed a bloody discharge, I wake my husband up so he can hand me my phone to call my mom (thank God she’s a nurse) and she’s telling me what it was exactly but not to get excited just yet because it could go either or. So I’m like okay I’ll go lay on the couch because at this point I don’t have it in me to crawl back in bed. Well here comes the pee sensation again and I noticed the rest of my mucus plug came out, so I go to get my husband up and he’s getting ready to run out the door, his stepdad just had a wreck. Thankfully he was okay! Well 7 rolls around and I’m dying in pain it felt like, my husband gets here and grabs me, off to the hospital we go. Well not even 10 minutes we get pulled over. Emergency lights (both lights and flashers) going, which my husband has emergency tags. We explain to the officer that I’m going into labor so he let us go🙏🏼 then once we FINALLY get to the hospital, they get me into a room and start trying to find the contractions. They can’t find them but I’m screaming and trying to come off the bed at this point so here goes my mother in law trying to get them to do something. Turns out I was having back labor pains! Well during everything they have discovered the baby is breeched so caesarean it is. Well they get me on the table and get me half ready and I aspirated right there, everyone yelling around me and all I want is my husband there with me and then I’m out. I wake up about 3 hours later only to find out that I was going too quick and they couldn’t get him scrubbed out in time. Needless to say it’s a day that changed my life but definitely a day that I’ll never forget. But my son was born completely happy and healthy💙
