Dairy allergy? (Poop picture warning)

My girl has been having mucousy poops for well over 2 weeks now. Doctors keep saying it’s probably a virus and will last 7-10 days... definitely past that. She had no other symptoms of a virus, but did have bad gas problems from birth- 2 1/2 months ( currently 4 months). She’s staying hydrated but I’m getting frustrated cleaning poop off of her clothing 3-6 times a day 😓
I’ve started cutting dairy out of my diet just incase. Can any mommas out there with allergy experience tell me if this is what it looks like?

My daughter had blood in her stool, that’s how we knew it was an allergy. She had mucusy stool for about a month and half before that, but I was told it was ok. The GI doctor thinks a virus caused it to go from a sensitivity to a full blown allergy.

A milk protein allergy isn’t as common as momma’s are led to believe, though they do happen! We are going through something similar and I am keeping a food diary. Green poops like that can also mean a hindmilk/foremilk imbalance especially if you have oversupply or overactive letdown.

My little girl had exactly this and was going up to 10 times a day (some really really small ones!) it turned out she was cutting her first tooth..

My son went through a phase of green mucousy poops when he was 3 months I think. It lasted over 2 weeks but resolved on its own without me doing anything differently. A public health nurse said it could have been a virus but get him checked out if he seemed off otherwise or if there was blood. He was acting normal and happy so I just left it and it went  back to normal yellow. He still poos 5 times or more a day at 4.5 months though...😳
