After a completed miscarriage?

Question

I completed my MC in the hospital and had some bad complications, in the end I needed a transfusion cuz if lost too much blood. 
​They had to remove the placenta cuz it was stuck and that was why I was loosing so much blood. 
​Now do I have to continue using pads? There's not much blood anymore and I know your suppose to use pads but there's not much on it and it's mostly sticky and uncomfortable simply from sweating and everything.
​How much damage could it really do if I wore a tampon? I've heard of a couple people doing it with no side effects. I do have to go see my dr in a couple days so I guess it would just be best to wait till I asked her hmm....

I've heard using them can cause scaring and that it's best to just stick it out.

If you had surgery to open your cervix  in order to remove the placenta I would highly recommend to not use tampons. It's too much of a risk and you could easily introduce an infection to the inside of your uterus. Totally not worth it! I've had two d and c's due to missed miscarriages and after both I have been told nothing vaginally for 2 weeks. Maybe just speak with your gyn to be sure.

I'm sorry for your loss. After my D&C the OBGYN told me nothing could go into the vagina for 2 weeks to prevent infection. I would wait and speak to your DR!
