August Heat

Is anyone else really struggling with the late summer heat/humidity? I just woke up after midnight FREAKING OUT because I was so hot - I had to get straight in to a cold shower and almost felt like I was having a panic attack, it was really strange. I feel like my feet are so swollen it's hard for the rest of my body to cool down.. We only have one old noisy AC unit and I'm considering buying a new one even though it's expensive. Anyone else just feel like they've hit a barrier with this? I don't like heat at the best of times but can't deal at all right now. I was so upset I could barely breathe, hubby thought I was losing it! 😥
