Normal toddler boy behavior?

My son was laying quietly in his bed this morning. Then I noticed he was kinda grunting so I went over and noticed his penis was out of his pull up (he’d taken it out) and he was playing with it. 
He’s 22 months ...

Sounds completely normal, he's just discovering his body.

My son’s never grunted but in the tub he does express interest in it. I don’t want him to think it’s bad, but would obviously prefer him not to spend his days tugging at it 🤣 So I just say “that’s your penis, you have one penis! These are your shoulders, you have 2 shoulders. You have 5 fingers...” and I redirect his attention to a counting/learning activity. It generally works.

He’s just discovering his body. My nephew used to take his penis out and do an “air guitar” with it AGAINST MY LEG. A boy I babysat would use his favorite stuffed animal to rub against it lol. Boys are interesting 😂

I knew a little kid in daycare who would hump the floor. 😆 kids are just weird and discovering their bodies
