So this morning I woke up with severe abdominal cramps and a stabbing pain in my right side but with no bleeding, I am 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I am in Sweden and rang their healthcare helpline and a nurse advised me to go to the emergancy department. When I got there they didn't have a gynaecologist on duty so sent me to the gynaecology outpatients. Where they did a vaginal ultrasound and blood tests! The ultrasound showed a gestational sack but the baby isn't visible yet which is inline with my stage of pregnancy, they also noted a functional corpus luteum in my right ovary which is brilliant, but a cyst on my left ovary too. My HCG is 6,500 which made me breath a sigh of relief my baby is safe and sound and developing for now 😍. It was recommended that I book another ultrasound in a week to check everything is progressing just because of the pain I am experiencing. So I have an ultrasound booked  for next Friday when I will be exactly 6 weeks!
