Hymen and weird bump?!???!!!!?

So I use tampons but sometimes it hurts and doesn’t go up very far even with me pushing a lot so I was wondering if I have a hymen or not (I’m a virgin but I know some people never have one and it commonly breaks during exercise) so I was kind of fingering myself trying to tell if I have a hymen and I just can’t tell. I can fit my whole pointer finger in before I hit skin. Then I moved my finger towards my right and felt a bump kinda like a ball of skin attached to the wall of my vagina, a full finger-length in. Is that normal? Also do I have a hymen?
