I had my baby girl Wednesday dec 5th and we are just getting home. Since she was an emergency c section plus other major complications, I am on a very strict pain medication regimen. I decided in the hospital( in severe pain and no energy) to strictly formula feed even though my plan was to breast pump bottles from the start. I got my milk supply tonight and went ahead and pumped and it felt so good! I’m not going to feed her this since I have been taking my medication but I’m going to try to keep up pumping until I am off them and she can safely drink it.

Has anyone else had this happen? Am I okay doing this or should I just formula feed at this point ?
