Breastfeeding Latch?

Is it possible for a baby's latch to get worse over time? I thought this thing was supposed to get better if anything but my girl is 2 months and she used to have a pretty good latch but these last few weeks her latch seems to be getting worse and worse and my nipples have become quite sore.

Teething/ovulation? It would be a bit early for you to be ovulating again but mine got particularly sore then! And it can be a bit painful for baby to feed when teething so they can fuss a bit then or be off food completely or want lots more!

Get her checked for a tongue tie. Ours was severe, and she could latch to everything week one, then no boob week 2. Much earlier than yours but still a possibility

My boy is the same at 11 weeks. A month pain free and now blisters. 
I think he has some early teething pain because he’s grabbing at his ear/cheek. 
It fucking hurts and he won’t use a nipple shield so I’ve pumped once today for a break and might again tomorrow. I’d have done it more but haven’t done it early enough before he’s needed to feed and I don’t want him to cry while I pump.
