How likely are the chances of me having gestational diabetes in my second pregnancy?

I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my second child and I experienced GD in my first pregnancy which was very scary. I’m 11 months postpartum and worried it will just start back up because I’m pregnant. I have never had diabetic issues besides when I was pregnant the first time.

I had it with my 1st but not my 2nd! They’re 2.5 years apart. I now have it with my 3rd😕it’s possible!

2nd baby: No diabetes
3rd baby: Gestational diabetes 
4th baby: No diabetes

I have it again. 3rd pregnancy,  2nd time having it. My 1st I passed the 1hr but he was 9lb, his shoulders got stuck and he had low blood sugar at birth so looking back my doctor thinks I had it with him as well.  Each time I had no issues after birth, between pregnancies.

my diabetes Dr told me in general if u have had GD before  with each pregnancy the chance of diabetes is higher
