How long naps should a two month old take?

I'm sorting his sleeping routine out today I'm determined he's being sleeping 7-8 hours during the day (without feeding doctor okayed it) so I need to get that 7-8 hours sleep to night time starting at like 11 pm ish...how long do you think I should let him nap ? He has 2 hour and half an hour ones at night should I wake him up after 2 hours?

Ok aim for 12 hours at night. Baby should go to bed early. Like 7 or 8. Naps can be 30 minutes to 3 hours. Just make sure baby stays awake for 1.5 hours before bed. My sons naps are 30 minutes and have been since like 8 weeks old. Some babies nap better than others

I would wake them after 2-3 hours during the day to feed, and try to keep them up a bit before sleeping again (playtime, tummy time). Also make sure daytime naps are in a room with daylight and some background noise (normal daytime stuff). Then at night keep it dark and quiet (maybe just some white noise)
