sex. period came early ??

So I had some pretty long rough sex for my birthday like all night type lol ,  my vagina was sore the morning/ day after , the next morning (today) when I woke up I started my period . ? Why ? Did he literally make me start my period earlier or what could be possibilities??

if its aas around the time of your period this is normal like if you were suppose to get you period in 5 or less time sex can been it down early but if you were like 2 weeks away i would consider that bleeding and see a doctor
