Does your man ask if you want to have sex everytime?

So my husband always asks "do u want to have sex" and it irritates me to no end. I have told him to stop asking and he still does. It's annoying to like just throw me on the bed or start kissing me. If I'm not into it I'll say no or I'm not in the mood. Asking me every time is turn off. We have been together over 12 years now and he doesnt get it. He asked this morning which caused an argument and he said I was being bitchy and left.

My man just suggest that we go to bed. While he has an erection. So I already know what’s up. Asking is a sweet gesture who wants to start getting things hot just for someone to say no or I’m not in the mood. I’d rather ask to get the green light then face someone pushing me away. My husband is opposite. He wants me to ask. If I don’t he thinks I don’t want it so he doesn’t initiate even if he does. Drives me up a wall. I’ve told him I want him to be spontaneous and just come up and kiss me or be close and turn me on. I don’t like having to say I want to do it. And lately he wants me to tell him earlier in the day. It’s like he wants to plan for it 🙄 after we have talked about it it’s more of a mix now though. 
Try to compromise how you initiate so it’s a mix of how you both prefer.

My SO does the same thing and yeah it’s irritating. This is my man; I trust him; we’re “together”; if he wants sex 99.9% of the time I’m game; he doesn’t need to ask for consent every time.....or any time with me. If I don’t want it, I can say it. He will even ask “can I eat your 🐱”...like really dude?  The answer to that question is ALWAYS gonna be HELL YEAH.

My fiancé does this. I’ve explained to him that if I’m just sitting on the couch, and you ask me to fuck, I’m likely going to NOT be in the mood and say no? I’m always like

When he catches me off guard randomly asking me to bang.

I've told my husband that I want him to ask. I don't like surprises, and I'm a big fan of verbal consent. When he asks, I can just tell him I'm not in the mood, rather than trying to "shrug off" his physical advances. Have you and yours discussed why HE wants to ask you everytime? It sounds like you've made your wants and desires clear, but maybe you haven't given him the same courtesy?

My husband has asked me this a couple of times. Every time he does i ask “have we really reached a point in our relationship that we have to ask now?” To me it’s a turn off and is basically being lazy. He’s taking the lazy way out of seducing you. That’s not okay. I would just ignore him from now on since you’ve clearly told him how you felt and he’s ignoring your feelings and wishes. Good luck!
