You cant take a birth control after 3 weeks of miscarriage, your need your body to rest and it takes more than 3 weeks for your body to be totally normal, but if you got your period that means its normal but not all that normal. But if you are late then that could be the pill that is alterating your hormones.

Birth control can change your cycle, and so can a miscarriage, as they both affect your hormones. If you're concerned then ask a doctor, but you should be fine. It takes a couple months for your body to get acclimated to birth control.
