Is vinegar safe while pregnant?

Question

I made a homemade sub sauce that has vinegar, oil and spices. I heat up my sand which and then add it. (Similar to subway’s sub sauce).
Well I just read pregnant women should not eat vinegar because the acidity is dangerous to the fetus. Is it ok?? I cannot keep up with these rules! 😑

Vinegar is fine! The acidity won't reach the baby Haha! It might make your tummy hurt though depending how sensitive your stomach is right now.

You'd have to eat a hell of a lot of vinegar for that to even be a possibility.

If vinegar is bad, then my baby is gonna come out shaped like a pickle bc that’s all I’ve wanted to eat for months. Pickles. So many pickles. I’m keeping Claussen in business. 
Seriously though, vinegar is fine. I’ve read some pretty wacky shit online too. Use good judgement and consult your doctor when you really aren’t sure.

Vinegar is great for you. I drink it for heartburn all the time. Plus it is really good for gut health. Maybe if you drank a gallon at once it might cause issues but if you could do that you would be super weird. Lol
