FF is wrong, right?

Question

FF is only estimating I already ovulated because of the spike, right? I do have PCOS so things are wonky often. Fingers crossed this is actually ovulation & not just my body tricking me. This is my first month using OPKs which is just another thing to get obsessed with. Got high, but not peak both am & pm today.

I would continue to bd until it’s super clear you ovulated. Especially with pcos, your body could have a few false starts before it actually ovulates.

If your OPK is giving you a high reading that’s from the estrogen peaking before the LH peaks so I’m guessing you didn’t ovulate since estrogen drops after ovulation. To get a high reading it has to be decently high which only happens before ovulation occurs. This isn’t 100% but most likely the case. Hopefully that makes sense.

So my body is trying to ovulate but has still be unsuccessful, right? I’m using the Clearblue advanced digital OPKs. After this morning FF removed my crosshairs (as expected.)
