Triggering Tattoos?!?!

Hey everyone! I just turned 18 and really want to get a tattoo but I’m afraid that the pain from the tattoo will trigger my self harming past. I’ve been 4 years clean but I’ve suddenly got anxiety about it. Any advice? Thank you!

To be completely honest I personally know people who have self harmed and getting tattoos has helped them stop.. kind of like taking a negative and turning it into a positive..

As a person who suffered from self harm for many years, tattoos have been the only thing to stop any urges for months on end. Whenever I get myself getting bad I make a tattoo appointment💕
