Retroverted uterus, can it affect fertility?

My husband and I have been ttc for almost a year now. I have been having a lot of problems with horrible cramps even when I’m not on my period, and a recent ultrasound showed nothing but my retroverted uterus. Can this have anything to do with why I can’t have my 3rd baby and complete my family 😭

No. I have a severely tilted uterus and tilted cervix. Sperm gets to where it need to be regardless. It’s like having green eyes, it’s just a variation. It does not affect fertility

Hello, retroverted uterus here 👋 it didn't affect my ability to get pregnant (howwcer, my irregular cycles made it take a little longer) but it did cause abdominal pain especially during sex that was timed near ovulation. Your cervix moves lower during that time which is what caused pain for me and made me sore. Hope that answers questions for you, my Dr. Said its usually corrected after child birth. Nothing to worry about, just a nuisance!
