Thoughts on anti rebound bar?

Looking for opinions on getting an anti rebound bar for car seat.  Is this worth it or just another thing baby companies make you think you need?

It's a waste of money. I am a car seat tech and they test the car seats as is. If it didn't come with one on it, it's not supposed to have one. The car seat alone is designed to take the impact and disperse it- the bar is just an added waste and unnecessary
