Are you breasts meant to leak whilst pregnant?

I am 36 weeks and my breasts have never leaked whilst being pregnant unless squeezed, and even then it’s only a tiny amount. I have seen heaps of photos of women and their tops are covered in liquid! Are we supposed to leak whilst pregnant? I’m scared I won’t be able to produce milk...

I’m 36 weeks this week and my boobs don’t leak. Every pregnancy is different. Also, your milk doesn’t come in for a few days after the baby is here. So whether you leak or don’t now, doesn’t matter in terms of being able to b-feed

With both my pregnancies, I never leaked not even once. My first I nursed for 15 months and never leaked! My second is almost 2 months and I leak a tiny bit on my right during a letdown. But I didn’t leak during either pregnancy, as I stated before.

Meant to, probably not, can they leak during pregnancy, absolutely. Mine leaked at the end. They can also leak because of hormones whilst not being pregnant.

Some women leak some don't. I leaked with my first pregnancy and not at all with my second. I produce great and I definitely soak shirts now!

Not all women leak during pregnancy but leaking or not leaking isn’t an indication of your ability to breastfeed. I never leaked and I’ve been EBFing my daughter for 7 1/2 months and have an oversupply.
