To give 9 month flu shot?

We got to be at doctor in 10 minutes and I’m still undecided. Most babies I known got the flu shot had to be hospitalized because it made them extremely sick...

The flu terrifies me since my husband's friend died from it, so I personally would have had my daughter get it if she was old enough. I haven't met anyone who's child had negative effects from it other than the regular drowsiness and slight irritability

Where I live they won't give it to any baby under 2

My son had it at 7 months with three other vaccines and I think he was less annoyed by it all than I was by my flu shot - my arm hurt at the injection site. It's obviously your call but I've never had any of my kids / nieces / etc. end up with even a runny nose so what you described certainly doesn't happen to everyone. The flu is very dangerous for babies so whatever you choose to do, make sure you are aware of how to properly keep your child safe - ask your ped what you can do to limit your child's risks.

My son got the flu shot and was fine I’ll be glad too when he doesn’t die from the flu like so many kids do

I have NEVER heard of anyone I personally know who had to be hospitalized as a baby/child or their children had to be hospitalized due to gettin the flu shot. Hell I haven’t even read about anyone’s children getting hospitalized due to the flu shot. My son is getting his in January at his 6 month check up 🤷🏼‍♀️
